IF YOU HAVE USED A STOCK 400 CRANKSHAFT THEN YOU
MUST USE THE 400 CRANK BECAUSE IT IS EXTERNALY
BALANCED, IF YOU HAVE A BALANCED ASSEMBLY THEN YOU CAN USE
THE 350 FLEXPLATE SINCE IT IS DESIGNED FOR A
INTERNALY BALANCED ENGINE TIM

You will need a 400 balancer for your 400 crank as it is externally balanced and the 350 is internal.

before changing your flex plate
check wich
one you got now on
your engine...
I`ve built a
couple of 383 and
sometimes (depending on wich

crankshaft i used) i used the
neutral balanced (350)
flexplate
If yours is built with a stock crank
then it
should have the 400 flexplate on
it (unbalanced) it
will have a 3/4 inch wide
by 6 inch long weight
spot welded on it

Brian,
sorry i hitted the wrong button and

deleted your last post
what are you using now
for front tires?
i`ve ran a couple of 13" on my
spyders,
195/70/13 20560/13 215/60/13

only the
215 rubbed a bit when at full turn,
it also
depends on wich wheels you`re using
