v-8 NON A.C FAN SPACER

Tim, I saw a V-8 Monza fan ebay a few weeks ago
that had a clutch on it. I had posted some questions
about this because I don't know how there would ever be
enough room for a spacer or clutch on a V-8 monza. I
have a non AC car with the solid 7 blade fan, no
spacer bolted to the short water pump and 3 row radiator
and I have maybe 1/2" between the fan and radiator.
So, where does this leave us? I don't think V-8
monza's came with any spacer but how much clearance do
you have between your fan and radiator? If you do
need a spacer 3/4x3/4, check for one for a mid 70's
corvette, they used the 3/4" pilots. Clyde

Clyde, I can't speak for all coupes, but my
Sunbird V8 AC car came with a fan clutch and a 2 row
radiator. Its 21"x 18". I replaced it with a 3 row and my
fan clutch no longer fit. Maybe some of the Monza
coupes have the same setup.
