Manual valve body for th-350

I was considering going with a manual shift valve
body for my 76 Monza since it will only be a weekend
cruiser with an occasional trip to the dragstrip. Is
anyone else running their trans this way? Also, I assume
that the kickdown, modulator and govenor will all be
non-functional since I would control the shift points.

So far the only way I've seen to do this is to buy a
manual valve body. I've found a few shift kits but none
that totally eliminate the automatic shifting
features. Anyone know if there is a way to do this w/o
buying a new valve
body?

Thanks
Adam
