turbo 350 shifter

Hello

Does anyone know if I can use the
cable driven shifter that came stock in my 76 Monza
with I believe a 200 trans and know has a th-350? The
350 had a rod that connected the shifter to the
trans. Also the shift lever is above the pan level and I
think the 200 had it below so that the cable could
mount with 2 bolts to the trans pan. It looks like I
would have to cut a bunch out of the tunnel to drop in
the 75 rod shifter into the 76 body. Right now all I
have it a nickle sized hole for the shifter
cable.

Thanks

Adam

no need to cut a hole,
the shifter itself is
bolted to plate wich in turn is bolted to the
floorpan
both my spyder had or have th-350 in them with
the cable type shifter, you might have to adapt the
th-200 bracket to the th-350 to make it work
