Hi,
I have a 1974 vega with a 12 bolt posi. and I'm looking to replace
the rear coil springs. One side is very weak and sagging and I need
tire clearance (275/50-15). I was wondering if anybody would have any
suggestions on what type of springs I should get. I was told to pick
up a set from an early 70's station wagon but I'm not sure if those
would do the trick. Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
Mike

Mike,

If you want extra height from coil springs, grab a set from a '82-'92
camaro or firebird. They should give you at least 1" of extra
clearance, some people claim 2". I am going to go this route on
my '76 wagon but plan on using a set from a WS-6 trans am. Hope this
helps.

Charlie
