marco, i've got a cup holder in my beretta that
could be your solution. its called the wizard. it has
rubber clamps on the bottom that can attach to a door
handle and probably your parking brake like you
mentioned. it can also be attached with screws to any
surface. it can also anchor next to you in the passenger
seat. the holder part is adustable for different size
cups too.i got it at kragens for $6.also you could use
those ones that hang from the window channel for $2.(i
can't believe i'm doing cupholder talk---chuckle)...on
the chain issue, the cable chains are pretty smooth.
less bite than the link chains though. there's also
some that are plastic that attach somehow from the
outside of the tire. i saw them in a saturn dealer but
didn't look real close at them. you said people there
are used to te slipery roads but i see tese
highlights on the weather channel of cars slamming into each
other on camera. what a job. stand in one spot all day
and watch cars going out of control! cool chatting
wit ya, tom
