Hi Chuck, I'm not sure, you could try contacting
Chevy's 1-800 customer service line, I've got some
information about my 78 spyder there. Tell tham that yours is
not a canadian built one, its a california one.

The fact that you have a 305 in there is also
rare...they switched from the 262 late that year.

Actually...only 2,339 cars are said to have been 'spyders' for 1976.
Thats rare.especially since its 305 equipped as well.
Does it have the 'spyder' script emblems on the side fenders?

yes this 76 spyder came almost all there. Someone on line said I should take care of it. I also have A 66 chevelle ss 427 conv cherry. So Im looking for all the information I can get! Thanks Chuck

Is it a hatchback or coupe? And what color is it? I had a canadian built 76 spyder. it was a 262 'mahogany' color.

The spyder I have is A hatchback,I just painted it canary yellow. This one was made in southgate california and is one Of few 305 made there.Im trying to find out how many were made.
