RING and PINION SWAP????

Hi, I have my Monza 1980 with the original rear
end it is a 2.73:1, Can I put on, a 3.08:1 with the
same carrier??? or I have to use the spacer??

axle code #2EC.
Please let me know and if somebody
have a 3.08 for sale.

Yes, a 3.08 will fit on a 2 series carrier. If
you go lower (higher numerically) you will need to
change to a 3 series carrier, or use a spacer or use
special gears that are designed to be installed on a 2
series carrier. Clyde
