Hi Bryan.I have a bop turbo350 tranny core.It has
the valley out of the top of the bellhousing. The
tailshaft is gone but you would need the monza tailshaft
housing anyway. It would need total overhaul im sure but
what if i took out the guts and sent you the
case?(lighter to ship) You could have the guts swapped in from
another turbo 350 at a tranny shop. You pay the shipping
and its yours!(Just thinking out loud again:):):)Bill

Bill, what would that core cost, roughly, and what do you think a tranny shop would charge for the "guts" swap and overhaul?

Meant to say, what would shipping the core cost, roughly.

The other possibility is shipping it as it sits
now through Greyhound. They will take anything like
this up to 100 lbs. This might be a better move for
you. Then you have the "guts".I shipped a Saginaw 4 speed
over near San Fransisco on Greyhound and it cost about
$90.00.It weighed about 90lbs.A core here is anywhere from
$150-$200.This one has been out in the weather so thats why im
sure it needs everything. Here in the US rebuilding
your core usually costs around $300 plus the
converter.Back to the original idea though, without the guts it
would be much cheaper to ship, but might cost more to
build on your end.Wish we wernt so far apart. My zip
code is 85222 and the Town is Casagrande Az.I will
weigh the tranny today and give you an idea of
weight.Bill
