Well, its that time again...time to do something
I've done in all the good H bodys I have and thats
rely on it for a 6 and a half hour drive, with only gas
money in my pocket & to my name.

I love the
drive. This year its the Green '76s turn.
Only one
day of, to work and back is all it has to endure
before the 5-6 hour highway jog, down to Philly, to see
family.

I'm going to try to take my digital camera
and laptop with me and catch some short video clips
of the ride. Probably by sticking the camera out of
the sunroof ,lol. we'll see how it goes.

The Journey has been completed!.
The '76
monza was a great ride, the whole way down and the
whole way back.
The highest engine temp I saw was
195. It was 170 most of the time.
I added one
quart of oil.

Running between 3000 rpm and 3900
rpm the whole way, I netted an average of 15.5
mpg.
Fair.
It was 1 and a half tankfulls to get an
odometer indicated 336 miles.

There was some
heavy rain at times on my way back. It was dark and
hard to see the lines in the road way.I had to rely on
just following otheres taillights at times.
I got
a bit worried there...but the monza just kept
pushing right along, and that was good.
This was with
the lights on, wipers on full blast, and a cooler
powered through my cigarette lighter socket keeping my
thanksgiving leftovers cool. For 6 hours!!

I'm a
satisfied customer.
