hey karl, tunnel ram,cam ect.allowed on the
street up there. no smog laws or testing? down here we
can only have oem.and testing every other year and
when you sell your car except for pre '73 cars. no
wonder all those californians are moving up there. also,
they want to ban fireplaces for new homes being built.
can you believe it? later, tom

hi Tom, well its still pretty strict up here, if
you have your car licensed in a county where emmision
standards are not required, you can get tabs. There is a way
around it, but iam a law abiding citizen :) would not
ever do anything wrong., I even drive 55!.... NOT! its
all good, gotta know how to get things going on...its
no biggy. Your Friend, karl

Karl... meant to tell you that I've been in
Seattle 3 times in the last 3 years....(just got back
again about a month ago) wish I'd known that you lived
there! I did meet up w/ another HBody owner/club member
while there, but it sure would've been nice to see your
Mirage. If I get over that way again I'll definitely let
you know.

Ken

hi Ken, well, the next time you are up, we will
launch the dual quad Mirage, and "wow" the surrounding
communities of Seattle. It would be very nice to meet up with
you, and b.s. about all the cool stuff we have learned
about this rare edition monza..I rarely take the mirage
out, every time i do, i seem to get f***** with! But,
i dont let the authorities spoil my fun.The ticket
for no insurance up here is 480.00 bucks, DOH!They
usually just tell me to take her home....bummer huh? its
pretty hard to get insurance for this Bad boy.How many
cylinders sir?....8, and right off the bat, they turn me
down, when they hear the mirage wheezing through the
insurance store's parking lot.hehehehehehhe, i basically
built this car for racing at Seattle international
raceway.I cant wait until it gets nice again. The weather is
so rainy up here, can hardly ever take her out.Rain,
rain, and more rain :( But, its so nice and beautiful
here...The evergreen state :) Anyways, iam getting carried
away here, it will be cool to hook up with you....let
me know when your coming up, looking towards meeting
you Ken :) your friend, karl
