Blue paint in cowl...

The blue paint in the cowl area may be the result
of the recommended "color-matching" as outlined in
the M.A.T. Mirage documentation in section CC, page
1. Why only blue is seen for most is unsure, unless
M.A.T. was having difficulties with the decals being
trimmed wrong, thus having to make up the unfilled space
w/ paint. (just a wild guess) Or the other fact that
I'm aware of is in some cases, dealers chose to paint
the blue/red graphics on rather than apply the
decals. M.A.T. recommended the following Ditzler acrylic
lacquers to be used for painting the stripes or color
matching:

White - Ditzler 2058 (Vehicle Code 11)
Red - Ditzler
2546-D (Vehicle Code 75)
Blue - Ditzler DDL-14532 (GM
Corporate Blue)
Black - Ditzler DDL-9381 (Hi-Performance
Semi-Gloss Black)

Just my .02 worth... any other
ideas?

Ken
