Karl, you didn't mention if you were going to
extend that exhaust on "behind" the bolt-on mufflers or
not. That will dramatically reduce your decibil level
if you do, as well as keep you from falling asleep
from all the carbon monoxide entering the car.... just
a thought...

As for the Flowmasters...
you'll need at "least" 3-chamber mufflers for the street
to keep out of trouble with the law.... *smile*

Karl,
on my monza here`s what i did;

hooker 2129 headers,
2 Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers (2
1/2)
1 four inchs pipe that goeas from the
middle
of the car to the rear bumper

Great sound
(actually it sounds like a
GSX-R suzuki bike on
steroids)

Denis

(btw flowmaster 2 chambers are
really too lound for the streets and have an annoying
metal noise... but hey it`s only my opinion if you
like
the flowmaster sound go for the 3 chambers
small
glass packs will also be be too loud)

Hi Denis, its saturday morning, iam waiting for
Ron Goans,he should be here about 9;00am,and iam
getting psyched to rip the manifolds and crappy exhaust
off of my mirage.I have painted my super comps
black...and before i painted them black, i had them
professionally cleaned at the machine shop. They look mint.Went
out and bought the copper gaskets for the best
seal....I know what your saying about the glasspacks being
too loud...and maybe the flow masters will sound
weird?..i like your idea...;) are you running dual 4 inch
pipe from your mufflers, or a single 4 inch pipe out
the back??...maybe you can clarify this for me....
thanx, Karl
