Karl, I'm surprised that it's against the law to
drive around with a tunnel ram and stacks in Seattle.
(or maybe it's "not" and they just don't like it) I
"do" know, however, that it's illegal in some areas to
drive with no hood. Maybe that's their beef, instead of
the stacks. As for a hood, I have an extra white 1980
Monza Spyder hood w/ the red Spyder decal (faded) still
on it for cheap if you want it. It's not a "trick"
hood, but is cheap. But I'm afraid to see what shipping
from East Central Illinois to Seattle would be, but I
can give you an exact shipping quote if you're really
interested.

Ken

Hi ken,Iam actually looking for a fiberglass race
hood...like an l88 or cowl, that will give me clearance for
the dual 4 barrels and tunnel ram...this will work
out only if i run a pair of triangular low profile
air cleaners...but hey, thanks for the reply i
appreciate your post:) Karl

Karl,
DON`T use the triangular FOAM
air
filters
Most of the time they get soked hit fuel

vapors and if your engine happens to do a
backfire
then you`ll have a messy job.....
and maybee a
large hole in your new fiber
glass
hood.....

K&N sells low profile round air filters

(reusable) that will fit your car
MR Gasket also sell
some chromed round
air filters
