MONZA MIRAGE AIR DAMS ARE HERE!

Hi Bob, the price will be 200.00 plus shipping
and handling...thats what i paid for my original air
dam, so, i believe the 200.00 price tag would be
reasonable...it is actually quite a process to build a quality
air dam, i will be posting some pics of the 3 piece
air dam as soon as possible :) Thanx, Karl

Karl.
The price is reasonable. I also paid
$200 for my original one ( it was new and never used
). I will take one when you get ready to start
selling them. I know that I had a hard time locating one
and that anyone who did the search will appreciate
how difficult thay are to find.
Have you come
across any ideas on the fender
attaching strips? I
ended up using counter top molding for my
spyderzx1.
Best of Luck to Ya,
Bob

Bob, I'd like to hear a little more about what kind of countertop moulding you used as your mounting strip for the flares. I'm intrigued.... any more info?

Ken

Ken,
I do not have the model number or name of
the company, but I will be in my storage area the
first week in October and if I remember I will get it
for you. I suggest you go to your local home depot or
similar store to see what they offer.
What I got on my
monza is very close to the original. I looked all over
as you may recall, going to swap meets all over
trying to find mirage parts. The only thing I could not
locate was the attaching strips for my last set of
mirage fender/spoiler kit. However, I decided to take an
alternate route and I came across the countertop moldings.
They are not perfect, but very similar. I think if you
looked you could find even something closer. I believe
they come in 6 foot lengths. I did use the countertop
plastic strips to secure my spyderzx1( mirage
clone)mirage fenders, they attach the same way as the
originals with pop rivets. In addition,I had a factory
mirage rear spoiler that was cracked and warped, so I
got a fiberglass spyder rear spoiler/centerpiece and
put it on the car and molded in a special curve to
make everything match.

I have the same problem with the rear cracking
and warping. As for the plastic strips, that is what
I am searching for. Do you have picture of the
molding that you are using. I have looked all through the
Home Depot here and cannot find it. If I could show
them a piture they might be able to lead me in the
right direction. Any assistance you could offer would
be great. Also, where did you find an airdam?
