ok! we decided after a bunch of crap that we went
through to scrap the idea of putting in the original four
and go V8. here is a list of parts we need and or
want. if you have them and want to sell them please
e-mail me at hey@ameritech.net.

oil
pan
driveshaft
panhard bar
V8 front swaybar and rear
V8 rear
springs
front shocks
left armrest in tan (yea right)
4
speed shifter return spring retainer
starter rear
mount bracket for 11" flywheel
and a couple of
questions
will our 4cyl trans mount and bracket work?
can we
use typical GM pulleys?
and am i missing anything?
hehe!
i thank you ahead of time for any answers!
bruce

If your car have power steering
you`ll need
monza V-8 specific
brackets and pulleys
if you
don`t have PS then use any
pulleys and brackets for
a short
water pump application

the lower
v-8 monza pulley might
be substitued by a GM 3
grooves
long water pump pulley (just cut
extra outer
grove)

The 4 cyl trans should bolt up to
the v-8
bellhousing but i doubt
it will hold the extra
torque....
The rear end is the same ,
the ratio might not be
the same but my
guess is that the 4 cyl diff will
have a
better ratio

you`ll also need a V-8
radiator
hoses,
motor mounts and frame mounts

bellhousing,

BTW a 11 inch flywheel won`t fit in
a regular
monza bellhousing
(some grinding
required)

more info in the tech club,
or e-mail
me
