Today, I lost my 100% original, pristine 1978
Olds Starfire/Firenza when some snapperhead rear-ended
me, pushing me into the oncoming lane of traffic. The
damage is total - front and rear ends destroyed, unibody
bent (the door stuck getting out...). What I am
looking for is a way to make the insurance company see
that this MINT 305, 2bbl, 4spd car with 48K original
miles is worth more than the bluebook value....Any
suggestions?

people can be so stupid! I know.....The insurance
companies are cheap bastards, and it will be very hard to
get more money out of them...we know your car is
worth way more.....but if i can find a answer, ill

I had the same problem with the iunsurance compan
when I wrecked my 1986 Grand prix 2+2. I hired an
independent appraiser and had him look at it. As a result I
got the insurance company to cough up the dough the
the car was going for in Hemmings.
