questions about air dam

1) Does anyone have a picture of a car with the
airdam but *without* the rest of the Mirage kit? I'm
thinking of getting one for a "regular" quad-light Monza
but wonder if the two side skirts look stupid without
the Mirage fenders.
(BTW I have a notchback so
getting the whole Mirage kit is out of the question; it
just doesn't fit in the rear).

2) Karl--is your
Mirage at stock ride height? My car may eventually be
lowered 2" and I wonder if that's just asking for trouble
with an airdam installed.

questions about air dam

I have pictures, but I don't have a scanner. I
used the front air dam only on my 75 monza 2+2 hb, and
it looks pretty good. Not only does it look good, it
is very functional at high speeds(155+ mph). Go for
it, you won't regret it. I'm doing it again on my
latest 75 monza 2+2.

questions about air dam

Lowering the car 2" could cause a small issue in
going up and down driveways, speed bumps and some
parking blocks. A guy here banged his original air dam on
all of them and actually had it ripped off by a snow
drift.

The replacement he got was 3" shorter. He never had a
problem hitting anything with the replacement.

The original installed, should be about 4" above the
road when properly installed.

I say go for the
lowering and be careful entering and exiting
driveways.

BTW My Monza is almost all stock car sans the front
air dam. Hopefully I will be able to connect with
Carl and get my car set. Also if you know where I can
get a notch back let me know.

Thanks
Bugsndaffy_98

Bugsndaffy,
Check out the other GMHbody sites, there was a 75 TC orig 350 for sale in Minn. It looked pretty clean and would be a good builder.
