I was going thru my Monza archives, and I came
accross 1 COMPLETE and 1 almost Complete (missing price
page), ORIGINAL, MIRAGE "MASTER PARTS AND ILLUSTRATIONS
CATALOG" from Michigan Automotive Techniques Corp. The
Cover Sheets have "FIRST ISSUE, 11/76:" on them. It's
hard to believe it, but at that time, the Complete
Body Parts Kits cost $369.51, and the Complete Decal
Kit cost $130.20. If we only knew then, what we know
now.

Hi Perry :) Wow! That is incredible! Yea, I
remember the good ol' days, when we could purchase a house
for peanuts,And cruise all day and night for next to
nothing.These days, people are so into gas economy,driving
these crackerboxes for 20,000 bucks,when they could be
driving a collectors car with a serious motor.I think
these people would have a much better time.I myself was
talking with my fiberglass partner about making full
kits,but, the cost of shipping, materials,custom boxes, and
not to mention kicking the Jaguar, and Mirage out of
the shop, makes me feel like i have betrayed my best
friends.I have had a good time watching the process of
making these airdams,I have learned a whole lot :) Its
all about inflation, thats why everything costs so
much these days...but the quality of life is far
better now than ever...its the way it is.Anyways..enough
of me jabbering.Thanks for the post Perry...very
