mirage 2+2 badging?

Question for the mirage gurus out
there...
Have any of you pulled the front fender flares and
found the original '2+2 Monza' chrome badging still
attached?
I'm in process of a strip/crush on mine, and found
the chrome badges still sittin there! Kinda surprised
me, as i had assumed the St Therese plant detoured a
set number off the line(whatever the dealers had
ordered for that week), then straight to BORT. Instead, i
guess, they just pulled whatever vanilla flavors were on
hand.

When we striped my mirage to paint it had no badges or holes there. I have removed paness from two other Mirages and found no holes.
