Well hello ,
Thanks for the message. I really
enjoy my Monza's. The photo's of "My 75" and "80 monza"
are my two cars. The 75 was (rest in peace) a 75 with
a 327, turbo 350 and 2:56 gears. The best it ever
ran was a 12.50 in the 1/4 mile and was steet legal.
The 75 had a rear end problem, locked up and hit the
wall at 100 mph, so I now have the white 80 Monza. It
has a 355 with a built turbo 350 and 4:10 gears with
axles. On steet tires it would spin, so I left the line
in 2nd gear and ran 12:70's 1/4 mile. Its also
street legal. I have bought some slicks and am now
having carb problems. It's winter here so I'm building a
new motor. I'm glad to see alot of Monza (and Vega)
fans out there. They are really fun to drive on the
street. I love to supprise the Mustang and Camaro guys,
as well as the 4 cyl. guys with that racing stuff on
the side of there cars. I have am in the process of
buying a 1977 V8 Spyder. Can't wait to get that on the
road !
Well have a " Happy Holiday " and a " Great
New Year." And to everyone involved out there the
same to you. I know I have plans for my cars this next
year. The '80 gets a new engine and the '77 hits the
road! I'll be sending pictures as I get them and I hope
everyone else will do the same. Love the club and the cars
!
