Hooker still has the V8 Vega conversion headers (Jegs, Summit)
they are 1 3/4 tube 30" primary and 3" collecter. The easiest way to
put a V8 in is to use a motor plate instead of a kit that way you can
move the engine a bit for better fit. Use a poly style trans mount.
Hooker also have headers (1 1/5 primary non-equal length) that fit
factory V8 Monza mounts but you need the
"elephant ears" and mounts from a Monza and the only aftermarket
mounts around are from Daves Vega Village up in Vancouver B.C> (very
$pendy)Good luck on your adventure! We all started somewhere.
