Another Stupid Question

Will parts from a 74 vega GT fit on a 71? I'm still learning!!

It depends on the parts really. Most everything
from one Vega will fit onto another Vega, except
certain susp parts and front body panels depending on the
year. I believe the most major suspension changes
didn't happen until 75 so I think it'll work. But then
again, I'm not an expert either. I think in 74 the front
spring pockets were changed from being flat to being a
bucket so if you swap those, you'll drop the front of
your car a couple of inches.

as far as sheet metal goes yes it will
interchange. but to use 71-73 front end on a 74 and up car you
have to use the whole front end from fenders on up
because the fender fronts are different. and there is no
such thing as a stupid question in the h-body clubs.
