Steves car looks good. get him down the
track!!!
like the makeover on the astre! good handy work.
im
also changed my 74 vega wagon to a 71 front and 71
rear bumper. Did you perform the split job on the
front bumper on the red one? im going to do this soon
but cant make my mind up how i want to do it. i have
seen it done several ways, yours looks to have been
made out of two bumpers (inner ends). I seen one at
the track the other day and he just fabed cap ends
that caped off the ends where cuts were made out of
flat steel, then painted the inner ends black.

hey dan, my bumpers are cut at a 45 deg. angle so
the back of the bumper lines up with the grill i
tried 90 deg cuts that lined up with the grill, but
didnt like it . steve ran his car at the high school
drags(even though he's out of high school they let him
run!)and got a 13.50!

hey again dan,
my cheap a@# just painted the
ends silver. the car was towed behind a motorhome and
the owners said it broke loose and rear ended the
thing and bent the middle in! thats the main reason i
cut it the first time!
