Wreck Update (Was Mirage Panel Info)

Hi Ken (with two of us in the house here, I hear
that a lot),

Actually we're going to wait until
we get moved to the other house we just bought here
in Kansas City, KS (house I grew up in, renovating
it right now) before we tackle that project. I do
have a shop here (local SCCA racer) that does real
high-end work lined up, he says it can be done good as new
for somewhere between $1000 to $1500 for the
mechanical work, no paint or parts. He can't even get to it
until sometime next month anyway, so I told him I'd
wait until after we get the other house and garage
done before getting into it. When we do get started on
it I'm not going to put it back on the road until I
get all the modifications done I want to do; 5-lug
conversion, V-8, 5-speed and the Mirage panels. I have a set
of 14 X 7" wheels that look a lot like the 13" sport
wheels to put on it.

By the way, the hardest part
for me to find is looking like the 1980-only grille
inserts. I have 2 other front panels, but they're both off
of 1979 Starfires, one out of a yard some time ago
and one off the parts car in the back yard. If anyone
sees any of these around, please let me
know.

Take Care,
Ken Snyder
