Vega power steering ??

Was there a Vega with power steering from the
factory?If not will any other gm h body power gear box fit
the Vega,specifically the 73 gt??
I am not a
mechanic but I know I saw a Vega with power at the
junkyard,any help would be greatly appreciated..........thanx

P.S. The guys at the junkyard are idiots and are
refusing to sell or even show any part of the only Vega at
their site.

the vega did come with ps from the factory. but
you can allso use monza stuff . however on 71-74
vegas it does not just bolt in. you must change pitman
arm idler arm and drag link. also the stiring colom
is diferant with ps but the monza one bolts right
in. if you can get the vega box all you will have to
change is pitman arm and colum. hope this helps

I have a 76 vega nomad w/ps. It is the same as a reglar gm car.It's big.
