I have purchased this kit for my sons 73 vega.It
is a little expensive but I wanted to use the motion
kit just so I could say I had motion parts on the
car.I have not started my engine swap kit so I am not
sure how hard it will be to use.It should work just
fine as this is the same kit motion has been selling
for the past 25 years.Also a friend of mine has a 71
vega that was built in the mid 70s that has the motion
kit installed and it works just fine.If you do not
want to spend the money for the motion kit go to the
GM Hbody car club,In the links section find the GM
Hbody facts page, there you will find a listing of
several companies that still sell a v8 swap kit that I
think are a little cheaper then the motion kit

the complete kit cost $795.00 and includes hooker
super comp headers,special v8 front springs,frame
mounts,tranny mounts and instruction.Also
includes
instructions on how to modify a stock v8 oil pan to fit in the
vega frame. It also has special pulley's,fan
belt, radiator hoses and brackets to mount the alternator on the
drivers side of the engine.I also purchased the 4 row
radiator from motion for $330.00(This will bolt into the
stock frame work of the car)when I got the radiator it
came in a griffin radiator box so you might want to
call them direct to see if you can get a better price
for the radiator.I have also bought a bolt on L88
style fiberglass hood(you have to remove the stock hood
hinges from the original hood to make the hood a bolt
on)I got lucky as my stock hood was unuseable from
when it was wrecked
You have to cut the hood apart
to get the hinges off.I also have the motion rear
spoiler and plan to buy the front spoiler some time this
summer
