Poly Engine Mounts?

Anybody ever had any luck or experience with
using polyurethane engine mounts in an H-body? I will
need to move my LT1 as close to the firewall of my
Vega as possible, so I won't be using the stock engine
frame mount location and will need to do some
fabricating for the frame mounts anyway. Poly seems like a
nice way to dampen vibration better than solid mounts
and avoid the sagging problem of
rubber.

Thanks,Dave

From what i saw in other cars
Poly mount are
harder then rubber
they will transmit more
vibration
but it`s a whole lot better then
solid
mounts

BTW in my car i use a plate and that
plates
attachs to my frame mounts whit
leaf spring rubber
mounts and the vibration
isn`t that bad
