N.O.S or O.E.M. Catalogs?

Sorry it has taken awhile to reply I've been very
busy.. I managed to find the caliper bushings locally at
one of the older parts stores where I live not long
after I the post I wrote in here. The package was faded
out pretty bad and looked like they hadnt moved an
inch since the day they were put on the shelf.
However, I just wanted to say thank you to all those that
replied. It is nice to see people willing to help out
others now-a-days....
I was wondering if someone
makes a catalog with nos replacement parts for the
Monza/Vega. I have seen catalogs for nos or oem replacement
parts for just about every other type of chevy made and
figure that someone somewhere might make one for the
hbody's. I would love to restore my Spyder especially
since I have only seen 2 where I live in North Texas
including the one I own personally. I have found plenty of
hbody cars around here in salvage yards incuding some
v8 cars that I can pick parts from but I would
prefer to buy new parts if at all possible, especially
the plastic interior pieces which have been baked by
the heat here in Texas. If anyone could point me in
the right direction I would appreciate it.

I would also be interestedin a nos/oem catalog.
Would you be able to post it anywhere? like on a website for everyone to download?
Just wondering...

I don't know of any H-body NOS or repro catalogs.
I have ordered a Camaro catalog because some of the
trim and interior stuff is the same or adaptable--
mainly interested in front upholstery.

I live
down in Abilene. If you know of some yards in the
Wichita Falls area that have Vegas and V-8 H-bodies, I
would sure like to visit them. I'm especially
interested in a Cosworth fuel tank in good condition. If you
could e-mail me at: bongo52@attglobal.net, I would sure
appreciate it. Down here, FM 600 Wrecking (north of I-20 on
FM 600) has four vegas, two Astre/Sunbirds, and a
lot of Monza and similar H-bodies. I will gladly show
you around if you want to make the drive.

Dave

I have a ccatalogue at home, It is from Dobi, but
I forgot to bring it to work today, I will try to
remember it tomorrow, and I will try again to see if they
have a website. I do not have a scanner on my
computer, it is for work, but I can try to get it scanned
to a disc at my friends house so I can make it
downloadable.

locally around here most of the monza/vega stuff
is for the station wagon...although there are a few
sunbirds and monza sedans in a few of the salvage yards
here. the best bet would be the winter swap meet in
decatur the last few years i have gone to it there were
some vega cars and parts so try to go there next
feburuary if at all possible...(bought a set of hooker
headers for $25 last year)..as far as in this area i know
of a couple of v8 monza coupes in graham that i need
to go back and see what all is left....if a station
wagon would fit i know where a panel is at thats been
sittin for years and a couple people that are playing
with wagons for drag/street use that might have the
gas tank left over....as far as driving to abilene i
would love to go down there and if nothing else
look...mostly what i need are interior parts but i do need to
find the front air dam..mine is missing on my spyder
and the emblems that go on the fenders along with the
black plastic trim that goes on the quarter window..
hopefully on my next weekend off maybe we can get together
and go from there.
