72 front wheel size with hookers

Does anybody have a good take on the
size of
the front wheel to run when you
use the 2129
hookers? I would like to use a 15 inch to keep it higher
off the ground but still
need to turn somewhat. I
realy don't want the tires sticking outside the wells
to far as the
rear is tubbed and the tires are
right at the
upper well.
Any input is
appreciated.

Blurat,
i use 15X6 whit a backspacing
of
3 1/2 (draglites)
tires are 205/60/15
Clic
on my profile and you`ll see
a pic of the
car)
So far no tire rubbing..
(i limited the
steering travel when i
was using the monza brakes and
13 X 5 1/2 inch
wheels whit 185/70/13 tires
(backspacing unknow

You must understand that whit the
longuer
steering arms on the s-10 spindels the wheels

will travel a bit less from side to side
i know
becasue now the spindes won`t hit the
limiter i
added

Denis mentioned in his post that his current
tires are the same diameter as his previous tires,
185/70/13. I had the 13's on a car with the 2129's. I didn't
use a bump stop and they just slightly contaced one
side on some turns. However, I didn't have them on
there very long. *shrug* The car is all torn apart now.
stripping it then junking it

The main reason i had to
put stoopers in the
front
end is simple...
I didn;`t want to burn

my new tires and......
I had to pass a
government
inspection (car hasn`t been
registered for a
while)

So one area they check when
the see exaust
pipes in the
wheel area is tire
clearance
