Monza rearend width?

What is the width, Brake face to brake face of a Monza rear? I am replacing the one in my 72 Vega with a custom 9" with chevy style ends. Thanks

hey man use the width of an s-10 rear end its a
perfect fit or a 8 in out of a early 70's maverick they
both will work and fit better.
With the 8 in mav
rear use a 3 in back space rear wheel.Or use corvette
8" wheels w/1/4 or 3/8 thick spacer or 15x8.5 w 3
5/8 back space.

most rearend shops know the widths of stock stuff
try moser he should have stock widths on file ,,,but
heck if you want it done right just measure the inside
width of wheel wells add 1 in to each side for cearance
1/2 in if your only going in straight line . then
measure to outside of wheel wells then measure the wheels
you are going to use then take measurement off of
back side(mounting surface to inside of tire(yardstick
across then use tapemeasure add your clearance(1 in or
1/2 in per side as you decide) and add that to inside
wheel well width (add both sides0 and bang you have
your width to fit YOUR CAR.
