Stock V-8 Mounts

The mounts can be found in the 1975 Monza V8
section. They are not listed for any other year model, but
they should be the same. However, I wonder if they are
really the Monza V8 mounts. Has anyone bought a set of
these, and if so what did you think of them? The price
is the best I've seen in years if these are actually
V8 Monza mounts.

Thanks,
Bob

There is a difference between the left and right
motor mount for the stock V8 and chevy list a seperate
part number for each. This add list one part number
for both mounts. This sounds to good to be true. But
you never know. If they are the right ones, I'll take
6 sets.

OK,
i looked on the website and decided to
investigate further
there's two part numbers, both from
Sealed Power
1. 270-2281 for a 5.7, 350 (vin H)
$26.89
2. 270-2292 for a 4.3, 262 (vin G) $10.29

I
called the company, which is in Dallas TX, and talked to
a sales assistant (Becky). I asked if these were
oem replacements, functionally. She checked with her
technician and said only that they were functionally
"similar" to oem. She then offered that their return policy
would allow a refund (includin shipping call tag) if
they weren't the parts i wanted.
I'm still a little
confused, the website said "Engine motor mount, FRT, LH &
RH"
i'm not sure how the factory pieces worked,
is there a seperate engine and frame
mount?
anyway, i'm thinking about ordering a set but don't know
which to order and don't have anything to compare them
to to get a definitive answer. Anyone else
interested in this?
BTW, it definitely does sound 'too
good to be true," and we all know what that
means
later

just checked with my
sealed power
catalog...
it got an illustrated
section at the
end......

270-2281 looks more like a
V-6 mount to
me...

270-2292 looks more like a
regular Gm v-8
mount
(camaro,chevelle,truck..)

So, none of
them will fit....

and if i look under a 305
application
they list 270-2292 has a mount for
L&R hand
all exept corvette,vega,monza,
starfire &
sunbird

so this one is out of question

i might
try the 270-2281...
but again from the drawing
i
got here i`m 99% sure it won`t

fit....

BTW...
someone looked at those number
before
i think he got them from www.carpart.com

Stock V-8 Mounts

EAuto has made a mistake. They are listing a standard V8 mount for the Monza. According to them, the 1975 Monza motor mount is the same as on a 1972 Nova.

If everybody gets together and e-mails them about their mistake (like i did) maybe they can find a supplier..:)
