on my 1973 Vega I now run Crager SST's 14"x7"
with Mickey Thompson 26"tall,8.5"wide.
I've also
run Weld draglite's 15x8 with 3.5" backspacing and
Mickey Thompson 28"tall,9.0"wide. had to do some
massaging to the inners but they were great for racing, but
not that great on the street(to much cornering) also
have run Mickey Thompson 26"tall,8.5"wide by
15"...26x8.5 seems to work well in the slicks.my street tires
are on Crager SST's also 14x7 B.F.Goodrich 235x60x14.
they do great...except for hard launches,ya know smoke
