If any of you are in need of v8 motor mounts and
motor mount pads don't worry. I have fabricated the
perfect solution. You can even keep the v6 motor mount
pads installed. My kit utilizes brand new 68 327
Camaro motor mounts and a custom fabricated set of motor
mounts legs that bolt to the motor mount pads and to the
68 Camaro motor mounts. Don't waste your time with
the Hooker version. They are a front top mount style
and I think it looks ugly as heck. My kit looks like
it was factory made and you can easily replace the
motor mounts by going to your local auto parts store.
So, if you need to know how to make a set of these
cool motor mounts e-mail me and I can send you
pictures of how it looks and how to do it.

Sounds pretty simular to what I did for mine. Did you use the "pancake" style mounts?

Don-
I welcome a better solution to the OEM
mount. The OEM mounts allow too much travel, sag over
time, and are pricey if they can be found
new.

Please send me pictures of your kit and any other info
you may have.

Don-

I have been searching the entire
internet for HELP
to my problem which is finding motor
mounts for a 1975 Monza and I found this club. I read
your e-mail and I would like to get all the
information on how to make them.Your help would be greatly
appreciated. (The motors built but no mounts, very frustrating
in a small town.)

Curtis
