Billy B,
What I have so far is: A 350 4 bolt,
bored 30
flat top pistons, with a set of 194 open
chamber.Still in the machine shop.I have some bolt on front
mounts with 2 piece headers, I'm not sure of the brand.
I got them from an old timer who used to build
vegas' when they first came out. I'm, going to go with
an auto trans. I'm undecided between a 700r4 or a
350.The rear end is from a 76 V8 monza. Will be using the
torque arm and the track rod.I've found this set up is
best for handleing. tell me what you think, Thanks
Tony

Haven't had much time to post lately because I
have been spending all my time out in the garage!
Should have some pics up real soon...Robert

P.S.
There are photos of the Vega in the photo section
showing the early stages of development.

The real trick was keeping power output on the 302 down to nothing more than 300 HP and 300 ft/lbs of TQ. I think that is a safe power production level for the 7.5" axle...Robert
