I have this site saved so it automatically brings up unread messages since the last visit. After I read something I hit the "Back" icon to get back to where I started. Seems to work well for me. I don't generally wander around on the home page.

Clyde, how do you save it so it opens into the unread messages area? That function only works about 40 % of the time from the home page. Thanks!

Yeah, it's slow. That's because it's on a shared account. A dedicated box is like $80 a month.

Once I selected "view messages since last post" I just saved it as one of my favorites. Works everytime! Here's the URL that comes up, not sure if it will work for you http://forums.h-body.org/search.php?search_id=newposts If it does, or once you get to that option on the home page try saving it as a favorite.

Colin, How much is this board costing you a month? I think it's time for us members to start paying for this thing.

Just sometimes it takes longer then usual to access the database, not a problem tho.

How about some cool h-body.org Monza and Vega stickers? I'll send ya 20 bucks for one to help out. :)

I'm not paying for hosting anymore. This is being hosted on monzamess' account. I think the host is fine. They're stable, just highly trafficked.

I have a reseller account on another host and it costs me $20 per month. My old account on Autica.com was $45 a month. That's the one that was hosting the H-Body board before we moved here. I just changed hosts a few days ago.

I've had ZERO problems on this board. Everything loads up good for me. There are a few times where things are slow, but I have Firefox so I browse multiple tabs at a time anyways!

90% of the time the board is fast and reliable. But if the need come for us to offer up some $$ by all means no problem. Just $5 from each member who volunteer it should look after this costs for some time to come. Set up a Pay-Pal account and were off to the races?
