Announcement

In the interest of preserving h-body information, I've added several new forums that hold posts from the old Yahoo clubs.

What's in the new forums?

These new forums contain messages from 1999-2003 that people posted to h-body-related Yahoo clubs, such as GM H-Body, HBOA Tech, and so on.

Lots of good technical info to search and other stuff to read for fun.

Many of these groups still exist, and I've included links to them so you can check them out.

If the groups still exist, why am I posting the messages here?

Many of the messages have been deleted from Yahoo (especially in gmhbody/gmhbody5). So except for here, that information is no longer available.

What about Yahoo messages from 2003 to now?

I stopped collecting messages around 2003, when Yahoo messed up their groups and most people moved to v8monza.com. However, some people stuck around in the clubs/groups and there are some new posts. Go join the groups to see those messages and participate in those groups. I don't want to steal their traffic, just preserve technical information that was almost lost.

How should people use these new groups?

Browse, search, etc. I've left posting enabled just in case it's needed, but please keep new discussions on the main forums.

Who's h-bot?

I created the user h-bot to run backups and post these messages so that my own account's log-in info and post count aren't messed up.

How did all this information get into phpBB?

Let's just say my typing fingers are sore now.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas, H-Body users ;)

Dennis rules.

Hey, I realized almost all the posts I added weren't in the search index, so I added a mod to rebuild the index on command, and rebuilt it.

Now searching the forums includes all forums, even the club archives.
