great to have you back, what was the link dennis send ya?
I'm quite interested in what was causing the problem.
-Chevy Monza '76 2+2 V8 262ci (old) -> 355ci (oil problem) -> 355ci (piston broke) -> 350ci (current) ... LOL
-Opel Kadett E 1985 1.2Litre (Back up, had a broken condensor :P still need to find replacement accelerator pump membrane...)

its all in this thread :)
Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Other OS: google it

Next, edit that file and add these lines to the end of it:
216.120.237.103 h-body.org
216.120.237.103 forums.h-body.org

Then restart your web browser. If you run the "ping" test again it should resolve h-body.org to the new 216 address.

Once your ISP fixes itself you should remove these lines from your hosts file to prevent any future problems.

Yeah, basically, you're forcing your own little DNS entry on your own computer, because your ISP's DNS hasn't been properly updated. Occasionally you should remove those lines from the HOSTS file and see if you can connect to the real h-body.org; if so, you can leave them out of your HOSTS file from then on.

My failing was that although I understood the problem I totally forgot about the HOSTS file--this fx could have been put in days ago. Oh well, it's over now.
