Wow, I have no clue what's up with that. The host was doing some maintenance this morning so maybe you caught the site at a bad time?

Make sure you're using http://forums.h-body.org and not any other URL. [Note: When I listed an alternate URL, that was just to read the site until your ISP changed over to the new host--like I said, it won't work with the forums.]

Alright, here's my diagnosis.

Two screwy things have conspired to lock AusRs in his own alternate h-body universe.

First, on Sunday, the admin at the old host (where we got kicked out) turned the account back on so I could download a backup. He was supposed to turn it back off after I was done, but it appears he did not. So that account works. Almost no one sees it, because they're sent to the new location of h-body.org.

Second, AusRs is being directed to the old site for some reason. When it was turned off, he would have just seen the "suspended/disabled" page, but after it was turned back on, he sees the old site, his own personal playground.

To address this problem:
1) I've disabled the old site (just moved the files, no hacking or damage) and removed the subdomains including "forums.h-body.org." Maybe once his ISP sees this site is missing, it will refresh its DNS.

2) AusRs should again clean his computer's dns cache as follows: Go to Start->Run... and type in "ipconfig /flushdns"

3) If it's still failing, a diagnostic he can run is this.
Go to Start->Run... and type in "cmd"
In the command window, run "ping h-body.org"
and post here or email me the output.
He can also try "tracert h-body.org". Cut and paste the info or just do another screen cap if you have to.

Looking at the raw access logs, I see two people going to the old site.
1) someone at CPE-139-168-102-72.nsw.bigpond.net.au
2) someone at CPE-143-238-240-123.nsw.bigpond.net.au

I'm guessing that's AusRs?

Ok, AusRs's ISP is not updating its DNS or something.

First, he needs to send a note to his ISP support and say:

"Your DNS is resolving the hostname h-body.org as 67.19.21.202, however, the site was moved to 216.120.237.103 last week. The admins at h-body.org have checked the logs and can verify that I am the only one still going to the old site--everyone else has been pointed to the new site for a few days now. Please check if your DNS is being updated."

Second, AusRs can temporarily fix the problem by forcing his computer to resolve h-body.org with the new IP address.

First, find the hosts file on your computer.
Windows 95/98/Me c:\windows\hosts
Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows XP Home c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Other OS: google it

Next, edit that file and add these lines to the end of it:
216.120.237.103 h-body.org
216.120.237.103 forums.h-body.org

Then restart your web browser. If you run the "ping" test again it should resolve h-body.org to the new 216 address.

Once your ISP fixes itself you should remove these lines from your hosts file to prevent any future problems.
