How's the forum doing?

Postby monzamess » Thu Jan 18, 2007 5:46 pm

Just wanted to get some feedback on how the board is doing as far as speed, uptime, and so on.

Since the most recent move, I've been logging on very regularly (it's easy when you're up every 3 hours with little babies) and I've only had one time when the board was totally down, and even then, it was back up in a couple of minutes.

Let me know your experiences.

Wow, I know it might be a PITA but if you could take a picture or two of how the site looks on a cell phone I'd love to see it.

Anyway, glad to hear the new host has decent uptime for people. I was worried about that.

Not a problem here. I think I have had twice that it didn't come up right away. On the last host it was getting to the point it was a couple times a day that there was problems.

Darrel

p.s. Oh, and it seems a bunch faster.

I've had ZERO problems with this site... ever.

Well except when you guys work on it, then I get withdrawals.

Cell phone posting

Postby spyderman1977 » Sat Jan 20, 2007 5:09 am

Hey Dennis I dont know if my camera will take a decent close up pic of what the site looks like on my phone.

I have a Blackberry 7100 something. I cant remember which letter it is. I would say that about 90% of the time I can see what is going on within a post. Only time I have a problem is if there is a large picture file or when someone uploads a pic to the post. Some of the picture gets chopped off.

The only thing that is aggreivating is signing in through the phone. Sometimes it will let me sometimes it wont.

I never did get the chance to see what the board look likes on my other phone before it quit. I had a Sidekick II phone for the longest and I am thinking about picking up either the Sidekick 3 or that new phone T-Mobile is coming out with that is similar to a Blackberry.

At any rate I will try to get a pic of a screen shot through the phone.

This site works a 100 times better than it did on the last host. Thanks for switching!
