Who's online

Postby gerbsinmd » Mon May 07, 2007 1:01 pm

Dennis or Colin,

Could we somehow move the "Who's Online" info to the top, or at least the profiled car to the top? Since we added all those old archive sites on I rarely scroll to the bottom to see the numbers or cars.

What does anyone else think or am I being lazy???? Do I really want you to answer that last part?

Good idea gerbs, I hate scrolling all the way down there now. Maybe put the archives in sub forums?

I tried moving "who's online" to the top as a test, and it's too big so you have to scroll to see any of the forums.

Guess there will be scrolling either way. For now I put it back to the way it was.

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, this version of phpBB doesn't do subforums without more mods == lots of time involved.

We'll be migrating to phpBB3 sometime in the near future. When that happens I'll install a couple of pretty neat hacks that will allow you to minimize forums you rarely visit :)
'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.

You can minimize categories now but it only works if your logged in. Seems like cookies expire pretty quickly here too. Sub forums r a mod with phpbb2 but stock with #3 i think. Can't wait for a stable release.
