Wiring electrical stock, mod's and trouble shooting section

Postby MIKESMONZA » Thu Jun 28, 2007 1:31 pm

:?: Could we start a wiring section for the h-body and put past post's having to do with that subject. it is driving me crazy when I remember some one had a "cure or simular problem" with modification's and I have to back track thru the posts on the subject like custom dash's,,with aftermarket gauge's and choice of high beam, turn signal, and ididot light's, starter solenoid shunt modification with solenoid relocation on firewall or else where  , altenator's stock and other replacement modification's and added power accesorys  under hood add on's like fuel pump relay, electric fan relays, electric waterpump,, driving lights, custom nos relays and the  #1 "stock fuel pump diagnostic check" and the temporary by pass set up to the oil pressure switch failing with stock set up, (so you can move the car) Ideal locations for mounting aftermarket radio, amps, satelite radio, cd and mp3 technlogy antenaes power dome light upgrades and the hot topic tail lights upgrade bulbs? cooler but brighter.,,,,Mike ps "Whew" that short term caffene shot finaly wore off!!While typing this, post. I'm all for that. I've been trying to document and save everything to my FTP site that Dennis has allowed me to set up, but I still get questions and requests for information. Having it all in a wiring section would be tops! +1

I also Agree, had some problems with my own electrical setup which were resolved in general chat, however I won't find those threads back with the current search function so this would seem like a good idea.

Yep good job ya'll! :D

Only took me about an hour and a half to skim thru 42 pages and find the threads and I stopped to read a few other non-related ones. Gained some insight to the history of this place. 8)
