Ok, the chatroom is set up and shouldn't go anywhere.... I have put a "Bot" in the channel, which is an automated chat program running on my second PC... It can play a few games and keeps the channel going.

I have set it up that whenever I am in the channel, my chat program will beep at me when someone joins, so If i'm nearby I'll be there within a few minutes :)

Hopefully Colin will log in soon and pin this to the top, or maybe add the chat page to this site...

Colin: it's a simple self contained HTML file that loads a java applet from another server... I'll email you the HTML if you want to add it to your site to save from the external links :)

I now have a way to show how many users are in the chatroom :)

The default will be 2 users! My robots of course :)

it works pretty well, chatted a while with them, and this site could really use a chat IMO
-Chevy Monza '76 2+2 V8 262ci (old) -> 355ci (oil problem) -> 355ci (piston broke) -> 350ci (current) ... LOL

Want to be an advanced chatter? Read up on IRC (Internet Relay Chat)

You can download an external program called mIRC ( http://www.mirc.com ) and connect to the Hbody chatroom at anytime... It is much more powerful, and you can do a lot more with the chat if you feel like learning...

The server is www.freejavachat.com on port 6667 when you set up mIRC...

The room is #H-Bodies

Updated Settings to make the trivia and all the colors easier to read...

Background is a slightly darker gray now.

You can now get to the chat room by going to the main h-body.org page (see new link above) and clicking on "Chat".

It's the same place set up by Adam, just a new convenient way to get there!

I suspect that problem is beyond our control, but I can just remove it altogether if poeple think it's misleading and hurting the chat room... Any thoughts???
