Forum Topic Symbol description?

Postby tinsfci » Sat Sep 06, 2008 9:30 am

I´ve been trying to find a Help/FAQ about the meaning of the different topic symbols, but cant find that

Some of them are quit obvious, but not all (not for me anyway) :)

Could someone add a list explaining these symbols?

The one that looks like a light buld with a "!" is a sticky (meaning it will always stay on the top.
The circle with all the horizontal lines in it is a regular thread. If it's red it's new, if it's blue it's old.
If it has a star in it that means there are quite a few posts but I don't know how many posts it has to have to get a star.
The one with the arrow in it means it's been moved to another forum.

Oh yeah, the one at the very top, the circle with the "!" is an anouncement.

Also be aware that this is only true for the defalt scheme. If you use the eMunza theme (i think it's called) the symbols are differen't.

what are the ones in blue that have the moving script? It looks to be scrolling in side the little blue circle.

It means there's more than one page I think.

Image - Forum with subforums (which are unread)

Thanks for the help with symbols, but I think the star actually is a topic containing posts by yourself.

The "scrolling" symbol is likse you said for quite a few posts, (or if it is more than one page, maybe.)

Ahhh....! Matt, I missed your last post!

Thanks for clearing this out.

Oh...btw, am I not supposed to edit or even delete my own post, for instance in a case like this?

I noticed I couldn't delete or edit my posts in the topic either. In any of the other topics I can but not here. That's why I have a few posts here.

Not being to edit or delete posts in a thread you've created or posted in is a permissions issue. I'm willing to help fix those issues for you. Shoot me a PM and we'll get it fixed. :)
'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.
