I've seen a lot of double- and triple-posts lately. I know you guys aren't doing this on purpose.

Can you describe what happens on your side when the extra posts occur? Does the board seem to stop responding or is everything like normal?

Colin , i am experiencing a problem with the date information regarding posts. When i am viewing the forum , but not logged in i see the dares as normal:

Tue Sep 19, 2006 4:30 pm

But once I log in they look like this :

e91Wednesday302301

if you can fix this or enlighten me as to how i may alter my habits to view the dates when logged in that would be great.

Greg,

That's NNLST (never-never land standard time). Didn't you learn that in school? :)

I noticed your date format was "english" instead of the usual date string "D M d, Y g:i a" Unfortunately the second one makes more sense to the computer even though I'm personally not quite sure what it means. So I changed your format back.

Let us know if the problem is fixed.

Occasionally, the board will insert into your date field the algorithm used to compute dates. It seems to be a random phpBB issue and has been discussed on their forums. For whatever reason, a simple rewrite of the date code in the mySQL entry for your user profile seems to fix it. At this time there is no "bug fix" per se and it remains a niggling issue for all phpBB users.

Sorry for the inconvenience
Take care :)
