H body Venders

Postby BillPappy » Sun Feb 03, 2008 11:43 pm

I been looking for H body Venders. Or someone that sells parts for
them.

What I found was kind of sad. I guess I,m spoiled.
I been fooling with corvairs so long that I didn't have a clue
other cars like the H body didn't have the same kind of support.
It would be nice to order a new dash pad , Door panels front grill for my sunbird.

Look here:

Can't help you with the dash pads unless you want to pay a King's ransom to Just Dashes - still have to provide a part.

Sadly........ eBay is the only source for parts.
There are some fiberglass manufacturers that do Vega exterior pieces, hoods, doors, hatches, front ends, etc....

My parts mostly come from wrecking yards, this forum and ebay.

Start searching.

I'm sure they are all gone now, but I got a 5-speed, torque arm and drive shaft from a wrecking yard out past Maryville around '95-96. He had a couple 2nd generation H-bodies (Monza and Skyhawk I think)
Henderson's.... Hendrickson's or something similar. 321 going towards Townsend on the left. Used to get VW parts there, too.

Yep, I'm an aircooled vehicle owner myself (see my screen name? ... Bug-dude)
I have a '62 Bug.
