Vintage Vehicles (Show Quality Trim Restoration)

Postby dadhad1 » Mon Jan 12, 2015 7:26 pm

Hey Guys,

If you're looking to take your aluminum trim to a show quality condition, check out Vintage Vehicles in WI.
They were referred to me by a guy very well respected here in NH for car restoration/paint.

I sent them all my anodized reveal trim and they did an unbelievable job! You'd think it was new.
I even had a few spots hit by a DA and they worked the deep scratches right out.

They don't work on the cheap, but you get what you pay for. Depending on current condition of your trim, it should be around $20-25/ft.
They obviously remove the anodize, so the finished product needs to be cared for, but if you're doing this, you likely would do that anyway and limit its exposure to the elements.
They offer a straight up high polish or clear coat.

If you end up using them, I'd be interested in your feedback on this thread.
