Cars vs. Women

Postby barebonesracecars » Fri Apr 27, 2007 10:20 am

Just one man's opinion. ...and I'm divorced, so what do I know?:

Top Ten Reasons Why Cars are Better than Women

10. Cars don't mind being compared to your buddies' cars.

9. Cars don't mind if you have multiple cars.

8. Cars don't spend your money unless you agree to it.

7. Cars don't get self-conscious if you try to make improvements to them.

6. Cars don't mind if you buy them an anniversary gift that is used and greasy.

5. When cars get old, you can rebuild them to better than new.

4. Cars don't get upset if you ignore them for months at a time.

3. Cars enjoy being ridden hard...even by multiple drivers.

2. Cars don't get jealous when you look at other cars or touch them.

1. You can invest more in a car than it's worth, but it still makes you happy.

Hahaha

As a newly-wed I can laugh at that, I love my wife...even more than I love my car. It would be easier though If i could buy a chiltons manual that would explain the workings of my wife though.

shes the best woman in the world but there are still times when i wanna call the manufacturer and ask if there was a recall.....lol

Women are strange creatures...but Id rather be with her than anyone else....and If it came down to it...Id part with the car before her.
I just hope it never ever never ever ever does....heh

God bless

This is all in good fun. Not trying to offend anyone's wife. I love women too, just haven't had very good luck in that department.

No worries! At least I know 100% of the money I spend on my cars stays with me, and will never leave!

But then again some of us have the perfect woman.

Case in point..with my wife of 35 years.

1. She picked the colour of the Monza Wagon (Sunlit Copper)
2. She looks forward to the car shows and meets.
3. She is always suggesting things like.."a chromed alternator would look real nice there".
4. She wants newer better seats installed.
5. She "LIKES" to wax and polish the wagon.
6. She doesn't drive.
7. She doesn't complain when I'm working on the Wagon.
8. She loves to be driven around in the Monza and loves the sound it makes.
9. She bought me a 2007 Harley as a retirement gift.
10. She picked me. 8)

BUZCOP-- THAT'S GOOD THAT YOU KEPT HER THAT LONG. THE OLDER MODELS ARE COMMING BACK INTO STYLE AS PEOPLE ARE FINDING OUT THAT THE NEW"young " ONES ARE MUCH MORE COMPLICATED AND COSTLY TO KEEP GOING. BESIDES MOST PEOPLE FROUN ON TAKING A 35 YEAR WIFE TO THE CRUSHER.

This thread rocks. I totally agree with all 10 reasons why a car is better than a wife. I almost got married 6 years ago, but then I saw the light---- FAST CARS AND FAST WOMEN!!! wooooooooo!

But I definately respect all of you guys out there that went the other way--- I know one day I'll settle down and start a family, but if it ever came to the Monza or "her", I'de pick the Monza in a heart beat! Its a part of me.
