Like that name for the old Ford. I had to read it twice. When I first read it, 'Stationary Grape' didn't make sense. Grape - purple car, OK; 'Stationary' - showcar only - not a daily driver or even a driver? Ahhh ... but "Statutory (G)rape", now that's funny!!!

Nice X-Body - looks like a decent car to have for a daily driver.

Now get to work on that IMSA. We're waiting for some progress - post pictures, so we can drool.

Bruce,
What's your PayPal address again? I still need to send you some money for those parts.

Also, if you want to sell you Nova let me know. I'd love to drive a Nova/1st gen F-Body as a daily driver again.
Later,
Colin

the fun part of this daily driver is that it is quite the sleeper. under the hood is a blue printed, forged crank,355 cu in sbc with a ported set of 2.02 double hump heads, holley double pumper, full MSD ignition and pro billet distributor and full length,Tri Y headers . also has a modified turbo 350 trans with shift kit and a slightly higher than stock converter and a full stainless duel exhaust with flowmasters dumping under the dif wich is sadly still a one leged unit so ultimate performence is severly limited. with the 3.08 gears it also" cruises" at 100 mph like most drivers do at 55 mph. nice "OLD MANS CAR" thinking of getting plates saying INCGNITO on them. what do you think. any one have a cheap possi for a ten bolt?????

Gotta be more specific about that ten bolt.
There is an 8.5 and an 8.2 ten bolt.
I got in a discussion about that just yesterday.

The 8.2 was used mainly in passenger cars thru 71 I believe, the 8.5 was mainly a truck rear end used from God knows when....I think early seventies until...almost now.

The parts are different.

Cool car..wish I hada cool driver like that...darn

God bless

Kinda of like when my dad sold his 66 GTO about 10 years ago. He sold it to this older guy under the condition that he garaged it. Well he didn't. He gave it to his teenage son who was local, so we got to see it deteriorate.

Very clean looking Nova though. Looks like a car you can drive anywhere!

I pulled into My local Fleet Farm today and there was a totally 70's look Nova SS in the lot. The year where it said "Nova SS" in letters 12" high. The rear springs were arched about 5" and the shackle extensions were adding another 5". This thing was Jacked UP! Little 60 series 14 or 15" tires hiding in the wheel wells. I thought it was 1979 again!
