A/C, PS, PB....... wow! Nice car.

Love the Scout. Being a die-hard Jeeper, I love the old Scouts. Their D44 axles were a perfect bolt-in swap into the Jeep to give it a wider stance as well as a stronger axle up front.

you'd like this one if you like scouts. this one had duce and a half diffs transplanted front and rear and posi front and rear. ART CAR built off road racing trans and converter. for power my brothers put toghter a built to the hilt 383 dodge engine with ported heads ,custom headers and a nasty solid lifter cam. this combo would light up all four on paved road and would rev to about 7500 rpm

One of my best friends got a '71 Scout from his dad. He ended up putting Hooker Headers on the small eight, a 301 I think. They had to cut the passenger side floor out to do it. He ran that bad boy with open headers for several months! I could hear him coming home on the county hiway over two miles away. I knew exactly where he was based on the stop signs and the downshift for "dead man's curve"!
